Following the great success of her first collection , Carolina Soares returns with confidence with a second CD . While her first volume offered all traditional capoeira songs, the second is made mostly of new original pieces written by Carolina Soares herself with contributions by Mestre Barrao, Mestre Mao Branca and Mauro Duarte. Therefore, as the first CD was very traditional, the second is more modern in the arrangements and instruments -there is even an hip-hop remix!-, mixing more current Brazilian music with capoeira without losing sight of its roots. In brief: an excellent follow-up.
